Leadership
Welcome.
The future of Model United Nation lies in its’ educational purpose.
AmeriMUNC is a place for high school students to begin the process of understanding important international issues. Beyond the competitive and fun elements AmeriMUNC provides, I truly believe that our staff has the opportunity to ignite an interest in international relations for a younger generation. This potential impact is reason enough to get involved in AmeriMUNC. I am so excited to lead this organization for the next year, and work with our passionate staff to have an educational impact on others.
The impact, however, is reciprocal. By joining our staff, the conference will affect your life as well. This organization provides incredible leadership opportunities for all staff members, while also allowing staff to learn about important international relations subjects outside the traditional classroom setting.
I am excited to welcome the undergraduate staff and the high school delegates to another successful year of AmeriMUNC. Our community is constantly looking for new ways to expand and improve, so please reach out to me with any thoughts. We have a special year ahead of us.

She also studies on the pre-medicine track with a minor in economics. Emily is on the Model United Nations team at AU and looks forward to serving AmeriMUNC as the Director of Education. Her favorite part about AmeriMUNC is seeing all of the delegates be academically challenged and how they thrive under these conditions, and she can only hope to help make this educational activity more challenging, engaging, and exciting. On her sparse free time, you can find Emily scouring the streets of DC searching for the perfect gluten-free bagel (while complaining about gluten-free options accordingly) and reading about history. To relax, she plays Pokemon Go! (for some reason unbeknownst to many)
