Our Leadership

 

THE EXECUTIVE BOARD 

The Executive Board is the principal administrative organ of the American University International Relations Society. Members of the Executive Board work directly with the Chief Executive Officer to provide advice, develop and implement society-wide initiatives, and oversee the operation of the society. The Executive Board is responsible for sustaining and advancing the society’s mission in the short, medium, and long term.

 

President Jordan Baker

Jordan is a senior majoring in international studies with a minor in Spanish, completing her translation certification. She is from central New Jersey, and has been involved with AMIRS since her freshman year as a member of AUMUN and AmeriMUNC. AMIRS, Jordan loves to chat with friends on the quad, go downtown, and run an external conference called NHSMUN! Jordan loves this organization and all the friends she has made through it, and can’t wait to grow with it in the next year.

 

Vice President Anderson Korman

Anderson is a rising Junior double majoring in International Studies and Asia, Pacific, & Diaspora Studies. He is originally from Milton, Massachusetts, and has served as President of Community Programming, Deputy Chief of Staff for AmeriMUNC, and New Member Coordinator for AUMUN. Outside of E-Board, Anderson serves as Director General of AmeriMUNC and is a member of the AUMUN team. Anderson is so happy to take part in such an awesome organization and keep working to make AMIRS an even bigger group on campus!
