AUMUN Excels at McMUN
From January 27 to January 30, sixteen members of the AU Model United Nations Team competed virtually at the McGill Model United Nations Assembly (McMUN), hosted by McGill University. The conference featured some of the most relevant and unique committees, including an Olympic committee on transgender inclusion, a General Assembly on sustainable tourism, and a Spanish Bilingual committee on women's rights in the Caribbean.
At the end of the weekend, 75% of the AUMUN team earned an individual award and AUMUN walked away with the second-highest score of nearly 50 other colleges and universities. McMUN is AUMUN's first conference of the spring semester, so the team is excited to continue its success in future conferences.
